Her three favorite things are playing with her kids, going on dates with her husband, and reading good books.

Liz Gomez
It’s been a joy and pleasure serving independent study students and their families for over 15 years. Prior to homeschooling my own children, I taught elementary school for 8 years in the public school system. I enjoy reading, watching movies, listening to talk radio, and attending church activities with my family.

A fellow homeschooler for eleven years, she loves her job working with so many wonderful families as they take a central role in the education of their children. In her spare time she loves to spend time with her family, hiking, snowboarding or playing at the beach.

Angie Lee
I live happily with my husband in Yorba Linda. We have three amazing, grown children. I have been in education since 1989. I spent 10 years of that time homeschooling my own children. I am so grateful for the opportunity to work for Golden Valley Charter School and with the amazing families who have the courage to take an active role in their children's education.

Tamie Stewart
I have been in education since 1997, I have worked in a public classroom setting and at Golden Valley since 2010. I have three wonderful children that keep me very busy as a taxi, baseball mom, and homework helper, and in my free time I enjoy long distance swimming. My favorite part of my job is working with families, watching the students grow and learn, and helping parents create an educational program that best fits their child's learning style.

Lorrie Veiga
My name is Lorrie Veiga. I have worked as an EF for Golden Valley Charter School since 2004. I love working with my GV students/families. It is a pleasure to work for a school with such wonderful and professional teachers/staff.

Kelly Villalovos
I have been in the education field since 1994 and with Golden Valley Charter School since 2013. I couldn’t be happier to be a part of such an amazing and supportive staff! I homeschool my own 4 children and am familiar with all the joys and frustrations that may come along with homeschooling. I love being the cheerleader for parents and students who choose this route. In my free time, I like to read, watch movies, take road trips, go camping and take an occasional cruise now and then.

Racheal Yard
My teaching career began in 1995, and I've been blessed to work at Golden Valley since 2001. I've had the privilege of homeschooling my own 3 children through GVCS. When I'm not working or teaching, I'm enjoying adventures with my family, kickboxing, and taking care of our geckos, birds, frogs, snake, and dog!
